Sabah, S'wak biggest fund recipients: Wee

Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Education Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong said the impression that Sabah is sidelined from the national development mainstream should no longer arise because both the State and Sarawak are the biggest recipients of allocation from Federal.

"We did a comparison study and found out Sabah and Sarawak are the two states getting most of the allocations from the Ministry," he said.

He said this for included national-type Chinese schools (SJKC) and missionary schools. "The Federal Government has never neglected the development of SabahÉWe truly look after Sabah and never neglect as claimed by certain quarters," he said
