Sarawak YDP Visits Grape Farm

KANGAR, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- Sarawak Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng, who is on a three-day visit to Perlis, visited the Agriculture Department's vineyard in Sungai Batu Pahat near here today.
Perlis Agriculture director Abdul Razak Shafiai, in his briefing on the grape farm project, covering 5.3 hectares, said the vineyard, located at the edge of the Nakawan Range, now had five varieties of grapevines, comprising the Black Opal, New White Malaga, Loose Perlette, Black Queen and IAC.
