Special Allocation Projects Must Be Completed In Two Years

KUCHING, March 4 (Bernama) -- Basic infrastructure projects implemented under Sarawak's RM1 billion special allocation will have to be completed in two years and within the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP).
"The people-centric projects will have a positive impact on the rakyat," Sarawak federal secretary Md Yahaya Basimin told Bernama recently.
He said the projects were proposed by the state government via the Sarawak Planning Unit (SPU) while the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) in the Prime Minister's Department would act as financial controller.
